‘Halloween Kills’ Writer Says the Movie is “Bigger, Badder and Meaner” Than 2018’s ‘Halloween’

In an exclusive interview with Movie Web’s Ryan Scott, Halloween Kills co-writer Scott Teems has revealed what we can expect from the sequel of 2018’s Halloween. Here’s what Teems told Scott:

“I really can’t say anything about it, but I am really excited about it. I saw a rough cut of it a few weeks ago, and I’m a little biased, but my gut says that people that like the last one will be very excited about this one. It’s like the first one on steroids, I guess. It really is the bigger, badder, [and] meaner version of the first one.”

This isn’t the first time claims like this have been made about the forthcoming sequel. James Jude Courtney, who is returning to play Michael Myers, described it as the “first movie on speed”. Blumhouse Productions head previously said it is a big movie with a large canvas.

It is fair to says there’s a common theme in the above statements.

Also! It’s worth mentioning that a rough cut of the movie exists, which is good newes as it means there is a good chance it can still be finished don time, even taking the current production shutdown Hollywood is facing into consideration.
