Director Ari Aster (Aster), the man behind Hereditary and Midsommar, has revealed he has completed the draft of his next movie.
In an interview with the Associated Students Program Board (ASPB) at University of California, Santa Barbara (UOCSB) earlier this month, Aster said his new movie will be a four-hong long “nightmare comedy”. Here’s what Aster told ASPB:
“All I know is that it’s gonna be four hours long, over 17 [years of age].”
Aster did not reveal any more details about the project. NME reported that in a Reddit AMA last year, Aster said his next movie “will either be a wonky nightmare comedy or a big, sickly domestic melodrama”.
We’ll just have to see wait and see what Aster comes up with. However, one things for certain, we’re looking forward to it!
