‘V/H/S 94’: Horror Anthology Franchise ‘V/H/S’ is Getting a Reboot

According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), horror anthology franchise ‘V/H/S’ is getting a reboot with the backing of the makers of Ready or Not and The Night House. David Bruckner has written and developed ‘V/H/S 94’ and will also produce the movie. Filmmaking collective Radio Silence will also produce the movie.

Both Bruckner and Radio Silence contributed to the first V/H/S movie.

Among the directors who will provide shorts to the new anthology are Simon Barrett (You’re Next, The Guest), Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes For Us – Netflix), and newcomer Chloe Okuno (AFI Short, Slut). The producers are in talks with other filmmakers at this time. ‘V/H/S 94’ will be the first in the franchise which will be presented in a single, flowing narrative, with each section lined up.

Bloody Disgusting’s Brad Miska, a co-creator of the franchise, will produce the reboot along with Josh Goldbloom and Parinda Patel of the recently established Cinepocalypse Productions in partnership with Studio71. Michael Paszt, James Fler and Andrew T Hunt will serve as executive producers on the movie.
