‘The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It’ Expected to Be Delayed

Update: According to Fandom Empire on Twitter, “apparently the delay maybe due to massive reshoots needed”.

According to Deadline, The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It (The Conjuring 3) is expected to be delayed. Instead of being released on the 11th September, 2020*, the movie will instead be released sometime in 2021.

Deadline reports that Warner Bros. would not confirm the delay. Michael Chaves directed The Conjuring 3  off a screenplay written by David Johnson-McGoldrick. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren.

According to Screen Rant, The subtitle of the movie, The Devil Made Me Do It, is actually the name of one of the paranormal investigators’ most famous cases: the murder trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson. It’s likely that we’ll hear an official announcement from Warner Bros. regarding a delay in the near future.
